A GEORGE III MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1780 Of small proportion, with part fitted top drawer.

Dimensions: 75.5cm high, 71cm wide, 48cm deep

Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions all consistent with age and use. The top surface has a central mark, probably stained in water damage from a vase. Some old splits and cracks,  chips and losses. Overall very good condition. There are some signs of re-polishing and all handles appear to be original throughout. The slide to the top drawer may possibly of had some kind of adaption at one point, and the interior of the top drawer also with some compartments.  A later trade label for Cook of Marlborough.
