A CHARLES II CARVED OAK COFFER CIRCA 1670.

Dimensions: 65cm high, 108cm wide, 47cm deep.

Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use. Marks and stains to the oak surface including ring marks and some discoloration.

Some old splits and cracks, the top with later timber supports to the underside. The lock appears to be replaced, and  there are no keys present.

Hinges appear to be original, overall a good solid chest for 350 years old.
